Tiffany (Curtis) Strande was born and raised in the heartland of America, between Iowa City and Kalona. Born into a musically enthusiastic family, she was blessed with many opportunities from a young age.  She began violin lessons at the Preucil School of Music, studying the Suzuki Method.  With the Preucil Orchestra she was able to travel to England, Germany and Japan for various performances.  Tiffany continued her studies at Luther College where she studied with Dr. Virginia Strauss as assistant principal violin of the Luther Symphony under the direction of Dr. Daniel Baldwin.  She obtained a violin performance degree and graduated with honors (and 2 little girls) in 2003.  Over the years she has served as a section violinist in the La Crosse, Rochester and Winona symphonies.  Her heart and soul thrives in Almost Amish, a 3-piece band with Al Dietz and Tom Muller. When not spending time with her three busy daughters (Larissa, Beatrice, Aletta) you may be able to catch her performing with local musicians; Eric Straubmuller, Dianna Parks, Steve Books, Debbie Anthony, just to name a few.  Music brings people together from all walks of life and is truly something that needs to be shared in order to be fully appreciated.

The annual Chamber Music in the Chosen Valley series is sponsored by the Chosen Valley Community Foundation. The series seeks to bring live chamber music to life in the region by featuring local, regional, and national masters in chamber music performance.
