Purchasing tickets

Online tickets purchases are processed via our secure online ticketing platform through Arts People. Purchases can be made using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express Card. A .75 cent fee is added per ticket to your order.

Tickets can also be purchased during our onsite box office hours on Thursdays from 4:30-6pm, Fridays from 4:30-6pm and Saturdays from 10am-12pm. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling 507-884-7676.

If available, tickets can also be purchased the night of after doors open (see individual event listings).

After completing your purchase, a receipt will be automatically emailed to you. If you selecte, 'Print At Home' as the method to get your tickets, the link to do so can be found near the bottom of your receipt. We strongly encourage the 'Print At Home' option; it saves you from waiting in line at will call and speeds up the seating process at our shows. If you have problems printing your tickets at home, please email us at info@chatfieldcfa.com and we can email the PDF of your ticket(s) to you, mail them to you, or change your ticket receipt method to Will Call.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a show that you have a ticket for, feel free to give it to any of your friends or family as they are transferable. We rarely cancel performances but we do have a policy on it; please see below.

refunds and exchanges

Event tickets are nonrefundable.

In the case of inclement weather, most shows will go on as scheduled.  We encourage patrons to make the right choices for their circumstances, understanding that ticket purchases are nonrefundable.  In the extremely rare occurrence of a show's cancellation, patrons will be alerted via email, social media and our website.

Shows will go on as scheduled unless: the facility must close;  Highway 52 or Interstate 90 between Rochester and Winona are closed; the artists cannot arrive or perform.  In any of these events, shows will be rescheduled when possible and ticket purchases for canceled shows will be honored for rescheduled or alternate performances.

Note: For information on refund and exchange policies for our resident theater company, Wits' End Theatre, please visit their website or email them at witsendtheatreboxoffice@gmail.com.

gift certificates

Of course! Gift certificates are available in any amount and can be purchased directly through our website via our Arts People ticketing platform. Gift certificates can be redeemed for concert tickets (including order fees) in advance or at the door as well as used onsite for concert concessions. A gift certificate can not be applied to rental fees, art purchases, or event sponsorships.

To redeem gift certificates, please visit our website at chatfieldarts.org and simply input your gift certificate code during the checkout process. You can also use your gift certificate when purchasing tickets over the phone at (507) 884-7676, during our box office hours, or at an event.

CCA gift certificates are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. No expiration date applies but we do appreciate if the certificate is used within 1 year of the issue date; this makes life easier on our bookkeeper!

ADA accessibility

Thanks to recent renovations the majority of our facility is compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act facility requirements:

Accessible parking spaces are provided at the rear / west side of the building accessed via Twiford Street. The closest place in relationship to the accessible entrance. The main rear entrance to the building is ramped and has automated door openers, making access easier for wheelchairs, walkers, etc.

Wheelchair and scooter seating is available for concerts and theater events on the main floor of Potter Auditorium. These seats may be reserved online or by calling the box office. Although an elevator connects both floors of the 1916 Building, it does not provide access to the balcony of Potter Auditorium. The lower and upper balcony is only accessible by stairs.

Fully accessible rest rooms are located on the first floor of Potter Auditorium and the 1916 Building with stalls and sinks designed to accommodate wheelchairs. Water fountains are designed to accommodate wheelchairs.

For performances, ushers with flashlights are available to assist people with seating if needed.

Ear plugs are available free of charge at concerts for those with sensitive hearing.

alcohol and food

We serve beer, wine and on select occasions, specialty mixed drinks, at all CCA-produced events and at most events produced by our partners in our facility. We also serve non-alcoholic options including bottled water and canned soda. Drinks can be purchased with cash, check or credit card.

To provide the fullest Chatfield experience possible, we regularly make arrangements with area food trucks to be onsite in conjunction with shows in Potter Auditorium or community festivals. Check individual event listings for more information on this. We also have a selection of snacks available for purchase at all productions.

There are also several local dining options including Jac's Bar & Grill, JW Silver Grille, Subway, Hong Kong Restaurant and Dairy Queen.

Outside food or drink is prohibited except in the case of classes and rentals.

The CCA is located in the heart of Chatfield along the main thoroughfare of Highway 52 between 4th and 5th Streets just south of the Chatfield City Park and Band Shell.

Free street parking is available surrounding the Center. Please note that when plows are in operation, cars are not allowed to park on the street.

Free off-street parking is available in our parking lot located on the rear / west side of the building. Because the parking lot is part blacktop and part gravel, there are no lines for parking stalls so we rely on our patrons to use their best judgement and be mindful of other vehicles when positioning their vehicle.

Several accessible parking spaces are available in closes relationship to the ramped entrance.

dress code

We do not have a dress code, casual attire is fine for all shows.

If enrolling in a hands-on class, we strongly encourage close toed shoes and dressing in clothes that are comfortable and would be okay leaving with a stain or two on them.
