Teaching Artists Request for Proposals
The Chatfield Center for the Arts Visual Arts Committee invites qualified artists to submit proposals for hands-on art classes/workshops for the inaugural season of Art and Craft Skills Education programming at Chatfield Center for the Arts (CCA).
CCA is seeking to host 3 multi-day fine art and/or fine craft classes during the second half of 2019. Our facility is located in Chatfield, MN, 20 miles Southeast of Rochester, MN on US Hwy 52 (approximately 100 miles Southeast of Minneapolis/St Paul). CCA occupies the historic Chatfield Public School which includes classrooms and lecture spaces of varying sizes and design, as well as outdoor space.
Application Deadline: April 30, 2019 (postmarked by or received electronically)
Proposal Review and Selection: May 1-15, 2019
Coordinate class schedules and details: May 16-31, 2019
Promotion Begins: June 1, 2019
Classes Commence: September 1, 2019 or later
Selections will be based on artist qualifications, program quality and appropriateness, scheduling and timeline, and program costs. Special consideration will be given to proposals that include outreach programs and gallery installations.

We'd like to hear from instructors interested in sharing their knowledge in any and all artistic disciplines, including visual art, music and theater. At this time, we are currently building a directory of those interested in teaching at CCA.
