In a year when Minnesota events were frequently making the global news, children and young adults from Guatemala, Mexico, Turkey, and Jamaica will be in Chatfield to present a fun, heart-filled concert of songs of wondrous variety, with traditional and popular songs from their countries, a beautiful mix of songs about rivers, playful clapping songs, danceable dancing songs, Cuban Mambo songs—and for you lovers of old-timey rock ‘n roll, a medley of those rollicking, frequently familiar Fifties and Sixties songs famous for their do-wah-diddies and rama-lama-ding-dongs. Thanks to a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the concert is free for audiences of all ages—and if you happen to know every word to every rock ‘n roll song, we promise not to ask your age!

Josiah Smith returns to Chatfield, were he grew up, to play for one hour in the lawn outside of the Chatfield Center for the Arts!

Karst Calling (Megan Kleven and Jason Edward) blends soulful vocals and heartfelt melodies into a unique sound. Influenced by artists like Natalie Merchant and Tom Petty, they perform common covers, deep cuts, and homegrown originals around Minnesota!

John Sievers, an RCTC English professor who wears many hats in the Rochester arts and music community will be playing from 5:30-6:30 in the lawn at the Chatfield Center for the Arts!

Hayden Ashworth grew up in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota.   Having a mom and dad that loved country artists such as Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Travis Tritt, he grew up to love that sound of a deep, rich, rhythmic voice, which influenced his sound and style.   In 2019, Hayden decided to dive further into his dream and pursue a career in music
